Generally, we would require approx. 450mm from lintel to ceiling for a roller door and approx. 350mm for a sectional door.

Our garage door drive units start from $650 and an inspection would be required to confirm a price
Can You Add an Automation System to an Existing Garage Door?
In most cases yes. Your door would need to be inspected first to make sure it is functioning correctly and would not cause damage to a new motor.
How Much Does It Cost to Service My Garage Door and Drive Unit?
Our service fees start from $140 for the first half hour plus any parts required. A general service is usually completed within the first half hour.
What Work Is Performed During a General Garage Door Service?
We perform the following functions during a general service:
- Check Tension on Door and sensitivity
- Tighten Nuts and Bolts
- Lubricate where needed including all moving parts
- Check Guides
- Check the Drive Unit for wear, functionality and adjust where necessary for flawless operation
How Often Should I Get My Garage Door Serviced?
For optimal running performance and durability, we recommend that you should have your door serviced every 2 years.
What Should I Do in the Case of a Power Failure?
Motors have a manual release so you can lift the door open in case of power failure.
Should I Use a Professional Garage Door Installer?
Yes. Garage doors contain a large quantity of parts, making installation highly technical.
Professional installers can typically install a door in just a few hours. Additionally, correct installation will ensure your warranty is maintained.

How Do I Know Which Garage Door Is Best for My Property?
There are a variety of garage doors available including roller doors, tilt doors, sectional doors timber garage doors. Most doors are chosen due to personal taste although there are situations where some door styles are not appropriate. This would all be discussed during an on-site consultation with our experts.
